Meeting Pietro put my concerns at ease. He invited my husband and I to sample his cooking by joining him and his wife for dinner in their home. He made the pasta while we sat and chatted, very fresh ingredients and all heart. His carbonara sauce, a family secret recipe, was so creamy and delightful. The garlic infused bread was so much better than crusty garlic bread and complimented the oven roasted chicken pieces that made the dish amazing. We've used Saving Grace three times since and for our recent wedding. Great value and a real passion for food.
Saving Grace came through for me on very short notice for my dad's funeral. Pietro's price point was good, but the effort he put into it was actually astonishing. It was hard to believe that he created those kinds of finger foods and desserts for what he asked. His work is clearly a labour of love. Would recommend to anyone.
I visited the restaurant a handful of times in Abbotsford, where Pietro was chef, and he was meticulous in his service and craft. We had a party of five each time. He cooked a Red Seal dinner with duck. The presentation and quality was top notch. His special creation was an orange meringue which was exquisite. Pietro is a fine up and coming chef.
We had an excellent experience with this catering team. We contacted them on a Tuesday to help with a last-minute company Christmas party for 40+ people, and by Friday they delivered in full force. The food was outstanding—lasagna, chicken Parmesan, a great selection of appetizers, and desserts. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. No one left hungry.What really stood out was how pleasant and communicative they were throughout the entire process. They made a potentially stressful situation feel easy and seamless. Highly recommend for corporate events or any large gathering.
It was very easy to work with Peter and Christina at Saving Grace, they checked in to make sure everything was going according to what we had planed. I enjoyed working with them and everything was excellent. Lots of good food and cranberry sauce, sour cream, gravy. I was impressed with the service and everything else.

We hand cull and turn the vegetables for platters, select fresh food and prepare it for service in an aesthetically pleasing display. Our famous spinach dip is served in a sourdough loaf with accompanying sourdough bread, which is a part of every successful event.
The quality cuts for the Charcuterie portion, fresh cheeses, a varieties of crackers and crustines or melba toast will reflect your personal care to your guests.
Hot foods will be selected and made with care under the health and food safe guidelines, prepared with care and over 12 years of experience.

Cooking lessons
Give a man a fish, he will eat for that meal. Teach a man to do it himself, and he will unlock his potential and not be without an integral life skill.
Build yourself up, entertain your guests, or challenge your abilities to learn to cook any meal of your choosing.
Starting at $250, and $65 per additional person, we will teach you the secrets of building a dinner, walk with you to understand how to choose your produce, meats, and herbs/spices. We then return to your sanctuary to use your equipment to prepare 2 to 5 courses.
We do the cleanup and you enjoy the fruits of your labor. This service is 2 to 6 hours.
